Thank you for coming to this topic!
I do not own Nintendo. There are seven channels I will go over. Hopefully they are in the right order-please inform me so I can revise them ASAP! I will give HELPFUL editors credit-I will have troublemakers and trolls automatically removed. Thank you.
System Settings System Settings is shown as a wrench in a circle with a black background. Press start or tap the square to enter the System Settings. You will arrive at the menu. Your personal message you have set is displayed at the top.
There are four sections.
First Page: *Data Management
Here you can delete or copy person-obtained features from the System Memory or the SD card inserted.
*Wireless Communications
Here you can simply turn Wireless functions On or Off. It's sorta self-explanitory.
*Brightness Settings
It is set to 4 as a default, but the brightness can go from 1 (darkest) to 5 (brightest).
Second Page:*Profile
Change your username, profile message, favorite color (usage varies), and birthday date.
*Date
Set the current day's date. This option is also useful for games such as Animal Crossing DS.
*Time
Set the current time to make your DSi a reliable watch as well.
*Alarm
Set a time for an alarm to sound for you.
Third Page:*Parental Controls
A setting so explicit content will be blocked. Note: Does NOT block normal DS material.
*Touch Screen
Make sure the touch screen is working.
*Mic Test
Check Microphone sensitivity. If it detects sounds, a portion of the mic will be colored. The louder the sound, the more of the Mic will be colored in. You cannot change Mic Sensitivity here.
*Internet
This is an important area if you want to access WiFi material. Configure your Internet settings here with three options: Connection Settings, Options, and the User Agreement, which you must Agree to to use Internet.
Fourth Page: *Language
Set the (US version) language to English, Francais (French), or Espanol (Spanish).
*Country
Select the country of your residence.
*System Update
Connect to the Internet to obtain the latest from Nintendo. When (if available) update is complete, the system will shut down.
*Format System Memory
Warning!!!
This option is the dangerous. This will delete all added software and saved data. It will be like you've never picked up the DSi (unless you physically damaged it, but you know what I mean.)
Game Slot The next channel is the game slot. if something is inserted, a logo will appear. If nothing is inserted, it will appear will a dotted lined square, with a definition "There is nothing inserted in the Game Card Slot". Click on this option to access your game.
Nintendo DSi Camera When you first access this channel, it should guide you through the basic uses of the camera and the album. Access system taken pictures or SD card pictures and edit them.
On the main menu, you can access the camera or the album on the system data.
Sorry, I have no SD card available, so I cannot write anything on the subject. If YOU can, please contact me.
You can also access a calendar which display a random picture on the days you took the picture. You can write memos on days as well.
On the Other option, you can exchange frames or photos from other DSis, Copy photos from SD to DSi or vice versa, or delete stuff. There's also a tutorial accessed here. Please view it, so that I don't have to explain every little detail to you.
:affraid: It's not finished yet!!! PLease wait patiently, I'll finish it at my earliest convience. Thank you. :affraid:
